The Fellowship of Awakening March 16, 2016

Teachers of God;
We now have the next 25 Lessons under our belts. We are placing those foundation stones among the cornerstones of the first 50 Lessons. We are building a strong foundation that we can place Forgiveness, Atonement, Wholeness, Grace and Glory upon. We give up the addictive need for conflict that the ego taught and move forward toward our good and sharing our hearts with the world.
Lesson 74
There is no will but God's. I cannot be in conflict.
I am at peace.
Nothing can disturb me. My will is God's.
My will and God's are one.
God wills peace for His Son.
There is no will but God's.
These conflict thoughts are meaningless.
We're on the second half of Chapter 7. The Teacher arrives and we begin the much need training that is going to take up the mountain! We're learning about how to do things that will bring about the results we want. We've learned how to do what we don't want, now we learn to participate with our good and the good all around us to make a difference in our world. We begin to trust this teacher and we begin to trust and rely on ourselves, perhaps for the first time. We have a holy nature, you know. We are good loving and lovable people. We are reliable friends and colleagues, even though we may not have acted that way in the past. We see the good in our selves and the those around us and we work together to create the experiences we would like to have.

A Course in Miracles

Chapter 7: The Gifts of the Kingdom

Section XI: The State of Grace

Explanation of Images: As we follow the teaching of the Holy Spirit, it gets easier. We find out that we can change, grow and heal and that’s it’s perfectly natural. Our lives, bodies and even our friends seem to be cooperating with our development. Things start to go our way, we even begin to expect good things to happen. This is not an accident. It has always been so, but we have worked against our instincts and strengths. The Creator loves us, just as we love our children. Why do we do what we do? Because, just like God we are loving it into existence. We do what we must do, share ourselves with the world without conditions and without the expectation of repayment or compensation. Just as God beats our hearts and breaths our lungs. We are learning to create as God creates; and we need our brothers, our families to do that.
